custom realm numbers for plugins

custom realm numbers for plugins

I would like to submit a request to have a defined range of plugin realm numbers that would be reserved for "custom" plugins, etc.

Like a unique identifier?

If so, this has been thought about and will exist for plugin support in 0.9.0

I guess so. I was thinking along the lines of being able to use a realm # that was not reserved for another plugin already and having a defined range to pull from that would not conflict with existing realm #s

There will be a utility supplied with 0.9.0 Cacti to help with the initial setup of private and public plugins.
