With rrdtool 1.0.x, this is the only way. rrdtool 1.2.x supports slope mode and cacti will use it.

Hi,

In the settings I see both versiones. If I change it to the 1.2.x version, all of my graphs appear as broken images.

I have to install something?.

Well, you must not only configure cacti for use of rrdtool 1.2.x but you'll have to install this first. cacti then will change the code it generates for rrdtool graphs

You could also change the graph template to LINE instead of AREA and that would maybe give you something closer to what you are wanting
