Monitoring non-SNMP host

Post by Jeff_Smith »

I am trying to graph a device that does not have SNMP. When I setup the device it shows the device as being down and SNMP error. Is there a way to graph values from a non-SNMP device?

Why that is a simple thing to do. You need to switch the "Poller Availability Setting" to check via ping instead of SNMP.

Just go into Settings | Poller and use teh drop down box.

You may have to clear the community string from the Device to omit SNMP polling
