Text always not rendered in graphs

When my graphs are rendered, none of them contain any text. I found the post/FAQ regarding some problems with newer versions of PHP with the recommendation to run 4.3.11, so i removed 5.1.4 and installed 4.3.11. No dice. Also the FAQ indicates that this problem is related to "randomly" missing text, perhaps suggesting that if text is never rendered there may be a different problem? Appoligies if I missed the post elsewhere. Any suggestions?

Correct.

If you're never seeing text for any graph then you haven't specified a valid font path + font for the rrdtool font in Cacti settings.

Thanks for the reply. After some experimenting I also determined that the font file must be in the system font folder (at least for Windows). So I added c:\windows\fonts\cour.ttf as the path and now all is well.
