Has anyone had success graphing CPU or Memory usage on netware boxes?
I have several netware machines (v5, v6.5) running on Compaq DL380 servers. The disk volume and interface statistics work fine, however if I try and query the CPU or memory usage cacti will just become unresponsive / hang.

I had to make a new Netware CPU template to get it to work... give this a try.

Thanks for your reply - I get an error when trying to import; What version of Cacti is the template design for?
Error: XML: Hash version does not exist.

Re: template error
Usually you get that error when you're exporting from a new version of Cacti to an older one, so I'm guessing it was designed for 0.8.6g or 0.8.6h.bd200x wrote:Thanks for your reply - I get an error when trying to import; What version of Cacti is the template design for?

I've got 2 Netware boxes on DL320's and the CPU usage works fine using the Netware template provided with Cacti
Re: template error
Thanks for your reply elnino. I'll try upgrading my Cacti version.
Have you had any success monitoring the Memory usage on your Netware boxes?

I havn't been able to graph memory usage from Netware yet, but this thread has some information on that. I'm sure there are other things that could be graphed also, I havn't looked yet though.
Re: Netware CPU and Memory graphing
The template has a space in the first OID in the top of the XML file. Erase that, and it will just work ... (wanted to share this as it took me some hours to figure this out).bd200x wrote:Has anyone had success graphing CPU or Memory usage on netware boxes?
