Thold: after saving settings I get a 404

Post by y2k »

I'm sure I must be doing something wrong because from searching through the forums nobody else seems to have this problem. I downloaded and installed thold from http://forums.cacti.net/about6508.html
Ran the installation script and everything seemed to go fine. I get the extra thold tab in cacti and if I go into settings I get the extra tab for alerts (think that's what it's called - can't remember exactly). However, when I change anything inthere and press save I get a 404. Then cacti stops working completely - every pages gives a 404 and the only way to fix it is to run the uninstall script. Why is this? I'm usng cacti version 0.8.6h - is it a compatibility issue? The permissions to the files have not changed, and like I said, uninstalling it fixes the problem. I've checked all other obvious stuff like restarting apache etc. But to no avail

Try using the Plugin version of Thold, as the older version has many issues and is not supported / updated by the original author.

Just follow the link in my sig.
