Hi there !

to start witch I have to lift my hat for this great Cacti platform....
really nice stuff...

Yesterday I installed cacti with the Fedora guide that I found on this
webpage.

allsow upgraded to 8g.
and istalled thold 2.1a

but no to my problem.... It don´t send any emails.
the server is not connected to internet, but I have a SMTP server on the network that allows relays from the IP that the cacti server have.

anyone that can help me. I really suck on linux, but I think its better with linux regarding servers....

greatfull for help.
if you can patch it to day, why dont whait util 2morrow

Do you have cacti THold configured to use the local sendmail and send alerts? (in settings/Alerting-THold/ Sendmail Options, SMTP Options

If so, do you have anything in cacti/log/cacti.log, cacti/log/thold.log?
Do you see the emails trying to be sent, in /var/log/maillog?
