error: Table 'cacti.1' doesn't exist

Post by avalox »

Hi,

installed cacti on Fedora 4 with MySQL 5.0.18

I did everything like the README said. When i do a select on any table in the DB i get the following error (done with MySQL ControlCenter:

ERROR 1146: Table 'cacti.1' doesn't exist

I also tried to use the patch i found in the forum

MySQL-5x-Patch.php

and

mysql_5x_strict.patch

when i use the mysql_5x_strict.patch i become an error too

patch -p1 -N < mysql_5x_strict.patch
patching file cacti.sql

I hope someone can help getting cacti work.

What version of cacti did you install? From where? Please use the downloads provided at http://cacti.net. I recently applied all patches to cacti 0.8.6h without problems

There is not table in the cacti database named "1".

check that you have "sql_mode" commented out in your my.cnf file.

This it's not a cacti error, Mysqlcc doesn't runs ok with MySql 5.0.

I have a patch for the 0.9.4-Beta source if you want compile it, or I could send you a binary file.
