Graphing Upside down

Post by mjcthepilot »

Hi all,

How do I modify a graph template to show traffic in on the positive side of the y axis and traffic out on the negative side of the y axis?

Regards

CDEF's are your friend. :)

Multiply by -1.

I guess seek and ye shall find!

I made a new CDEF modifier and just multiplied by -8 to keep the data in bits.

However now i'm finding trouble with the scale..........back to the drawing board i think!

cheers rony,

seems to work well now. Many thanks.

I dont suppose there's anyway to get the legend figures to display positive values although they are on the negative side??

Thanks once again.

Not a problem. Select "make negative CDEF" for LINE/AREA Items only. Select "turn bytes into bits" (not: negative!) for GPRINTS.
For graphing neg values: Use "autoscale" instead of "autoscale-max"
