PHP Error

Post by skippy »

I just installed PHP and Cacti and when i got to the website i'm getting the following error:

PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 01D182DF

Any help would be great, i'm new to PHP so i'm not sure where to start.

I have been playing with it some more and i have a feeling it some thing with Cacti instead of PHP. I now get no error, just a timeout. But on the mySQL admin, i see the cacti user access the database, so Cacti is trying.

Any pointers will be great...

Definately not Cacti but more than likely a PHP build issue, extension or something brought on by an OS patch. What version of PHP? What version of Windows? What version of MySQL?...

Can you even login to Cacti? Have you initialized and imported the database file cacti.sql? Have you created your config.php per the instructions?

I was trying on a windows 2003 server, i just tried on a Windows XP box ad got it working. The new problem now is the thing is REALLY slow. 2-3 minutes for pages to load. Not sure what would be causing that except PHP. Any ideas?

Extremly Low

Hello,
I have the same problem. The PHP Graph view page is sometime very slow to appear (with IE or Firefox, not a problem from the navigator).
But when I restart IIS services, I have no more this problem.
Do you have any idea ?
I always try to access with "admin" user.
When I try to access directly to the graph_view.php page, it is very quick.
Thank you for your help.

Resolved my problem

Post by serialg »

Hello,
I have resolved my problem of slow php.
I had configured IIS to work with php.exe (the CGI-mode configuration) I have read that was very slow to run.
Then I have installed and configured IIS with ISAPI-mode. And everything's working fast and quite well.

My problem (last post) is solved. Hope it will help you.
