Monitoring AP without SNMP function.

I have AP without SNMP function and i want monitoring ping and packet loss. What shell i do? Thx very much.

Try http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=10049 to measure delay and loss between cacti polling host and you target device. This will not require any SNMP setup (pay attention to leave Community of the target device empty if it does not support snmp)

Thx, but i have a problem. I have any data in my graph. I test /www/php/bin/php /www/htdocs/cacti/scripts/ss_fping.php 192.168.50.12 20 ICMP and output is min:1.6600 avg:2.0920 max:3.8100 dev:0.5651 loss:0.0000, but data nowhere. Thx.

Please test under php script server. To do so,

cd /www/htdocs/cacti
php script_server.php
# at the command promt of the script server enter
/www/htdocs/cacti/scripts/ss_fping.php ss_fping 192.168.50.12 20 ICMP

at tell me what this yields. Do not forget to enter ss_fping as the first parameter. This is how to test php scripts from the script server.
cactid (old versions) is know to have problems with script_server on _some_ installations. If problems persist, please post them to the original thread of Advanced Ping to let the author know...

I have PHP 5.1.2 and h version cacti. I have Fedora Core 2 system.

I experimented and i installed again cacti and all is OK. But i have problem with packet loss. PL is large for some devices. Ping is OK for all. Any ideas.
