Error: Save Failed

Post by kdavidson »

I just upgraded to Cacti 0.8.6h and am running into a few problems.

When I try to add a device, I get a "Error: Save Failed" message. When I look at the DB the new host is there. When I try to edit the host via the cacti pages it takes me to the "Add Device" page again.

I am running this on FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE with rrdtool 1.2.12 (ports), apache2 and php-4.4.2 (manual build)

Has anyone else had this problem, or have any ideas what I should try to get it working?

I should mention that my poller works, graphs and rra files are working fine. This problem only exists when I try to add a new device, be it a Cisco Router, Generic SNMP Device - all templates fail.

I also am trying to import the temysql template and it is failing as well. I have tried giving write access to my apache user as well as cacti user, still no success. All sections in the Data Input Method, Data Template and Graph Template section fail (except Get SNMP Data because it si already defined)

Any ideas? I appreciate any help you can offer.
