SNMP - Interface Statistics query problem

SNMP - Interface Statistics query problem

I've recently upgraded from cacti 0.8.6g to 0.8.6h, and SNMP - Interface Statistics data queries are now returning 0 rows for all of my hosts. Most of the traffic graphs are showing up however under the host graph tree, and look fine. On a few hosts however the graphs are not showing up under the host graph tree. If i go to Graph Managment and select the missing traffic graph, the graph shows up. I've manualy tried with snmpwalk/get, and don't have any problem with either of them.

Hello,

Found your post as I was having the same issue after upgrading and attempting to add new devices - the interface poll was returning 0 rows!

I should note though that the verbose query was also showing a SNMP timeout when walking the interfaces (whereas yours seems to get the information but does not acknowledge this)

Resolved this by going back to SNMP version 1 for each new device (was default version 2c) and this is now working correctly - could be that the devices just happened not to like SNMP v.2c (which is strange as I have identical cisco devices that do like version 2c) so I thought you may find this info relevant,

I found my problem, in my mysqld.log I found this error:

060116 13:10:35 [ERROR] /usr/local/mysql/libexec/mysqld: Can't open file: 'host_snmp_cache.MYI' (errno: 145)
I repaired the table, and everything seems to be working again.
