Just updated to the latest build and now some of my hosts are comming back with that error message. In the debug log the only thing the oid returns is U. It seems that some of the snmp stuff is screwed up. Anyone see this before?

poller.php is getting the data though. I am going to switch and let it run that way overnight.
Any ideas what causes this? I am running the latest release of cacti (h) and cactid (f) on freeBSD 6.0-STABLE.

As to cactid, there are some issues. But I'm not sure that they do relate to your problem. Personally, I'd like to recommend at least the f1 release. cactid-0.8.6g was released lately. It appears that problem do occur with CPU and User info. As I asked before, please snmpwalk against those from cli and post your findings. This would be of importance for further debugging

Sorry for having been imprecise. But you log shows So you configured your target system for SNMP V2. To check this, your snmpwalk must contain -v 2c.

How do you find those?
I've deleted lots of graphs - saving the data sources for fear of losing data used by other graphs (since I'm not as up on how cacti uses its resource files as I ought to be)... and I get LOTS of these messages in my log file (though, since everything generally works, I don't pay much attention).

I have this problem too,
It's seems to be in the result of my router :
qos-box:/ # snmpwalk -v1 -c public 10.0.0.138 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.102
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets.102 = Counter32: 84831244
There are no problems ... but cacti seems to detect the space (between "Counter32:" and "84831244". According to function.php (validate_result())
a space or ":" or "!" is concidered like an error ...
i do an explode(" ",$output) when i detect a space ... all goes fine now

I still seem to be encountering this issue. What else might I be able to check?
sudo /usr/sbin/spine --verbosity=5 5 5
