Creating graphs for host - query doesnt return all instances

Post by boots »

Hi all,

I have a problem with instances and creating graphs.

When I choose create a new graph after I have added a device with a particular host template, I have 1 data query that doesnt return all the instances. In the associated data queries section in the screen prior to this, I do get all the instances in the status colum and all the instances when I execute a verbose query debug.

The total number of instances returned in the data query is 51, yet the number of instances presented to chose from after I select create graph is only 17. Other data queries like SNMP - Interface Statistics work fine and present all instances for selection.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds fine to me... what associated template are you using? You realize in the 'create graphs for host' screen, it combines the stuff which was outputted in the verbose query, hence not as many items.
