running poller.php

Post by PatC890 »

I'm having trouble getting everything to work right. When poller.php runs
I see this error and I get some files in the rra directory.

cat: cannot open /proc/meminfo
cat: cannot open /proc/meminfo

'format' is one or more of:
user ruser group rgroup uid ruid gid rgid pid ppid pgid sid taskid
pri opri pcpu pmem vsz rss osz nice class time etime stime
f s c lwp nlwp psr tty addr wchan fname comm args projid project pset

This is by just running
php ...../poller.php
Not sure if I should do it that way.

In the rra directory I get
localhost_load_1min_5.rrd
localhost_mem_swap_4.rrd
localhost_users_6.rrd
localhost_mem_buffers_3.rrd
localhost_proc_7.rrd

From trying to run CPU usage & File System Activity I'm missing at least
localhost_cpu_system_9.rrd
localhost_fs_reads_11.rrd

When I look in the log/cacti.log I see...

Any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks.

Forgot to mention that this is a Solaris 9 system.
