Error: "/rrdtool: No such file or directory"

Post by Matrix »

Hello-

I just installed Cacti for the first time, and I'm getting this error when I manually run poller.php:

sh: /rrdtool: No such file or directory

I have rrdtool installed and properly set in Cacti's settings. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks.

This would because the path setting for rrdtool is incorrect. You have to enter the full path to RRDtool.

According to the paths page under settings, the full path IS set.

"/usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool"

ls /usr/local/rrdtool/bin/ confirms this.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
