Data collected but no graphs

Hi i have installed Cacti and reinstalled it about 10 times now. I am now on version 0.8.6h

Debian Sarge (for alpha servers )
PHP 4.3.10-16 (cli) (built: Aug 26 2005 22:46:28)
MySQL version 4.1.11
RRDtool 1.0.49

The problem seems to be in the drawing the graphs since the rrd files have the proper info in them and the text in the graphs are correct.

Please goto the GRAPHs page and select this graph. Click on it to find all 4 timespans displayed. Now you'll see a little wrench next to each of those pics. Select one of them to find the whole rrdtool graph statement displayed. Please post this to help you debugging.

Does not look very strange. Did you try changing the Image Format to png? Myself, I have not tried GIF.
Debugging those graphs would go this way:
su to cactiuser
copy the rrdtool graph statement to cli
run it from there
watch out for errors

Replace

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/rrdtool graph -
by

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/rrdtool graph  /tmp/weird.png
to omit those funny characters filling your screen...

Did as u said and still no graphs in the png and no errors when i run the rrd statment :cry:
I have no idea what to try next
