I have installed 8.6g and wanted to apply the patches. Downloaded all the patches as mentioned in the cacti directory. when i run the command "patch -p1 -N < short_open_tag_parse_error.patch", it says "-bash: patch: command not found".

I am using SuSE 9.0. Pse help.

Please find and install the "patch" rpm package. To query, use

Code: Select all

rpm -qa patch

But RPM would be available only for Red Hat systems. I am using a SuSE 9.0 box.

Thanks for the tip. i was confused with rpm for SuSE, thought it was only for Redhat. got the patch rpm from rpmfind.net and applied patches.

My troubles solved.
