You must use the Cygwin build of rrdtool. Win32 does not work.

I'm running this under Windows 2000 with a Pentium III.
Are you sure this won't work?

Where are you getting that error exactly?
What version of cacti are you using? Have you installed the patches?

That has not much to do with the problem i've got. Somehow the computer doesn't collect the information. I'm pinging to the router that sends SNMP messages to the computer. The computer doesn't collect the SNMP messages and doesn't create a RRD database. I used for the router templates that works.
But how can i fix it?
The full error is what i told and the cactiversion i used is posted at the top of this topic.

Cacti 0.8.6

The full error:

A Runtime Error has occurred
Do you wish to Debug?

The question is where are you getting that error.... when looking at the cacti website, doing something with cacti, a dos window, what?

As for data not being collected, find out why. Turn the polling level in cacti to debug (Settings | Polling level) for one cycle and paste the output of the actual log file (./cacti/log/cacti.log). If it contains WEBLOG entries, then don't bother posting since they just clutter up the log. Turn off WEBEVENTS logging and try again.

When i start cacti (index.php) and login and i clicked on graph and then i saw crosses with text. The images seems to be gone. (like a site with images that did not excist anymore)
Then when i click on the text, (to see the graph) an error showed up what i told you.

Your problem is likely caused because you're using the Win32 version of rrdtool. You must use the Cygwin build.

I use the cygwin build now. I tried both versions (normal and cygwin build).
I coppied the files to C:\rrdtool and i set the path in the settings of cacti under path.
