Problem during installation

Post by xfix »

I was installing Cacti for the first time on Windows 2003 machine by following the steps at http://bsod2600.home.comcast.net/install_windows.html, during that i came across the mentioned below output by running poller.php which indicates the problems.

Can someone please have a look and see what can be wrong or missing

I got following softwares installed

Windows 2003 Server
Apache2.0.55
My SQL 4.1
PHP 5.1.1
Net-SNMP 5.2.1
CACTI 0.8.6g
CACTID 0.8.6f-1
RDDTOOL 1.2.6

Hello

Try to check the "include_path" and "extension_dir" paths in the php.ini

1) those MIB errors are because you didn't properly set up your MIBDIRS system variable.

2) The "change root is not supported by your OS" is because you're using the win32 build of rrdtoo instead of the Cygwin one. This was covered in my FAQ at the bottom of the guide.
