Inteface lists are suddenly missing

Post by djie »

Dear all, i really need your favor on this.
One day i need to temporarily shut down my server for cacti. The problem was started when i turned back on the server, my interface list for all my routers are gone!
I've tried to refresh the list, but result has been always [0 Items, 0 Rows]

But when i tried the "verbose query", the result seem to be fine:

+ Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at 'C:/Apache2/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ Located input field 'ifIndex' [walk]
+ Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ Found item [ifIndex='262'] index: 262 [from value]
...
+ Located input field 'ifOperStatus' [walk]
+ Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8'
+ Found item [ifOperStatus='1'] index: 262 [from value]
...
+ Located input field 'ifName' [walk]
+ Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.1'
+ Found item [ifName='NULL0'] index: 262 [from value]
...

Previously, there was nothing wrong with my cacti. Could somebody tell me what the problem is?

i just found that host_snmp_cache table in mysql has been damaged, maybe due to improper shut down of the server.
could someone help me out what fields does this table contain? along with their type and other properties.

i really need your help..

thanks,

the first think that crossed my mind was i need to import a new table for the snmp cache, fortunately i still had another cacti sql in another pc, so i re-create the table, and voila it's working now..

thank you so much for your favor, i'll try that much more practical way if i face the same problem in the future.
