Cacti seems to works but rra-directory is empty

Post by TSchilli »

Hi Guys,

I've installed Cacti on my Debian Server and it doesn't work. I created the databases, I get response from the snmp-daemon but on the Graph-Tab non graphs appear, even the standard-graphs for localhost are broken-images.
My rra-directory is writeable for the right users but it's empty. When I manualy start poller.php or cmd.php there's no error message but there are no new files in the directory.

The output from cmd.php:

##############

#!/usr/bin/php -q
12/05/2005 07:43:51 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] PHP Script Server Started Properly
12/05/2005 07:43:51 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[1] SNMP: Host responded to SNMP

##########

The poller.php file doesn't create any output.

If I put some rrd-files from a working cacti-system in this directory it works fine.

The error message from the graphs debug mode is always:

########

RRDTool Says:

ERROR: opening '/usr/share/cacti/site/rra/localhost_load_1min_5.rrd': No such file or directory

########

Here are my program versions:

OS Debian Linux
Cacti Version 0.8.6c
Cacti says: "PHP SNMP Support: yes"
Cactid 0.8.6d-5
Mysql-server 4.1.14-6
rrdtool 1.0.49-1
snmpd 5.1.2-6.2
snmp-protokoll Version 2
php4 4.4.0-4

I've already tried to upgrade too 8.6g, it doesn't help....

I hope somebody knows this problem and can help me, thx

Because you are suppose to be running poller.php, not cmd.php.
