I have some equipment where I can get statistic by telnet to a specific port and give a one line command. The result is like this:
NETWORK 1
REMOTE 1000
SessionCount = 12
REMOTE 1001
SessionCount = 13
NETWORK 5
REMOTE 5000
SessionCount = 101
The NETWORK number is not essential, only REMOTE and SessionCount.
I have no problem doing this in a perlscript, but..
I would like to make an Device template for the linux router giving this information and possibility to add REMOTES as they on put into the system and activated.
Has anybody done something like this before?
Help on template for iDirect VSAT equipment
