fatal, Call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_conne

hello everyone. i hav a strange problem, cmd.php script after running print folowwing thing:

Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_connect() in <b>include/database.php on line 19
---------------------
php compiled with mysql support ofcose, other php script that use mysql database don't have any problem. all path and binaries presents and ok. please any ideas?

If this is a new installation, just dump the db and recreate it again per the docs.
