Can't graphs to generate

Post by CharlieB. »

I cannot get any graphs. SNMP seams to query ok.

Windows 2003
cacti-0.8.6g.zip
cacti-cactid-0.8.6f-1.zip
rrdtool-cygwin-1.2.11.zip
mysql-essential-5.0.15-win32.msi

Cacti Log file entries repeating:
11/14/2005 12:05:57 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.

I am not getting rrd files.

Graph Debug mode -> RRDTool Says: 'Graph Access Denied'

access denied means you have a permission issue. double check the user permissions on your cacti directory, rrd folder, rrdtool.exe and cmd.exe.

Also, mysql 5 is not supported yet.

no graphs

Post by CharlieB. »

I have made sure one more time that the WPG & IUSR accouncts have read & execute to cmd.exe, rrdtool.exe & cacti directory. Also modify access to cacti\log & cacti\rra folders. I have no rrd folder.

i read that MySQL 5 is allowed if it's in compatibility mode. It seams to work ok.?

You better re-read this thread about mysql 5 support; its currently not supported unless you run the CVS code. Before you go to any more trouble getting Cacti to work, you need to resolve that problem.

Thanks guys. I uninstalled MySQL 5.0 and installed MySQL 4.1 and it is creating graphs now. I should have payed attention and did some more reading on the 5.0 version issues.
