Disk and CP problems...

Post by ijg0 »

I have a number of unix hosts which I need to monitor cpu and disk usage for. The host I created yesterday work fine but those I have added today are not producing rrdtool files for cpu and disk (all others work fine).

I can see the disk partitions and add them but they don't graph. After some investigation I notice the ones which are broken are not being added to the poller_item table. Also I see strange errors on the 'data sources' page - see screenshot attached. I have also tried adding the patches here http://forums.cacti.net/about9352-0-asc-30.html but they don't make any difference.

Any ideas?

I am sorry but the screenshot is way to small to see clearly, could you crop the part with the data sources so we can have a clear view?

I think I may have located the problem. If I try to export the data template 'ucd/net - Hard Drive Space' or any of the 'ucd/net CPU Usage xxx' ones it displays the following error:

<cacti>
Invalid data template.
</cacti>

Is this likely to be causing the problem? If so how should I go about fixing it?
