traffic into a mysql database?

Post by tomadmiraal »

Hello,

I´m looking for a script that will put al the traffic data of a Cisco 2950C switch into a database every 5 minutes. like:

Code: Select all

+--------+-----------+-----------+---------------+
|  date  |     in    |    out    |  port_number  |
+--------+-----------+-----------+---------------+
|  NOW() | (in bits) | (in bits) | (port number) |
+--------+-----------+-----------+---------------+
I will use this script to make a datatraffic overview for our customers.

Has anyone a script that will do the thinks I'm looking for?

Warmest regards,

T.J. Admiraal

Moved to Script and Templates
To the author: cacti will not put readings into mysql. It uses rrdtool for storing the data.
