Report plugin ''ReportIt" - v0.7.5a (released 23/12/11)

Seeing same "Validation error" when trying to access any version of the Report it plugin from Firefox 11.0. IE7 works fine for some reason. It tried uninstalling the reportit plug, and running "uninstall.php" and doing a fresh install of 0.75a.

Anyone find a fix for that issue yet? Reports run/view fine from IE7, so I'll just use that for now.

Seems to be working today in Firefox, not sure what could have fixed it. Only script that ran overnight was to refresh graph names and indexes due to some network changes (descriptions, ports being turned up).

I guess gives theses a try, in the /cacti/cli directory, not sure how it would correlate to a validation error. Only other logical explanation would be that it's a Firefox client side error, that was auto-updated or fixed with a reboot.

Im trying to use Reportit and it works sometimes (if the report contains small number of datasources or no variables)
But when i try to generate a report for a device with 52 datasources (Linux based router box) i get an error

I havent counted those parse error statements but i think they are generated for every source once. (this report is based on Your presentation plus one additional data measurand. Definition belllow

I have a second report on same box that uses only 6 sources (same device but only ethX interfaces without vlans) and this one works ok
Besides this if i check on report administration pane Auto Generated Data Items it includes random data sources (on creation i have 52 items and after firts run the number changes to 152 wich this 100 being random network interfaces from hosts monitored in cacti.
Any help with this problems will be apreciated.

First of all, hi and thank you for this nice plugin. I have one question, actually two:
1. I'm trying to import a template for ping availability, got it from another thread but I cant, it keeps saying that there isnt a data template for it(Data Template: no compatible template found). I was trying to use the graphs from advanced ping v1.3. I tried to make another data query with that template but no luck. Any ideas?.
2. Are there others templates that can be imported? maybe a repository?. So far I was able to import and use 2 templates for traffic and disk space.

Thanks a lot for this realy nice plugin.

A bug to report in measurand formula :
- create a Data Template with 2 datasource items : "my_ds" and "my_ds_max"
- create a Report Template based on the new Datatemplate and select the 2 datasource items
- create a first measurand with any formula (use any abbreviation, e.g: AB)
- create a second measurand and specify in formula the interim results "AB:my_ds_max"
- you will obtain an error message " Error: Invalid characters: _max"

The workaround :
- when creating the report, select ONLY the datasource item "my_ds_max" and click on "create"
- select the datasource item "my_ds" and click on create
- you can now create the formula with the interim result

The interim results list keep the selection order of the data source items

Any idea when/if Reportit will support PIA 3.1? I just did a new install of 8.8.8a, and it doesn't look like it picks up PIA 2.X plugins.

UPDATE: Strange. I just re-installed the plugin and now it appears to be working. eye-dee-ten-tee error.

Hey i just tried to install reportit 0.7.5a on cacti 0.8.8a. It says installed and active but if i click on any reportitpage it leaves completely blank and nothing happens. Seems like it isnt compatible to cacti 0.8.8a? Will there be a new compatible version? Because this addon is the only addon which gives me the features i need. Hope to get an answer soon. greetings

I don't want the whole interfaces, just some specific vlans on it, depending on which kind of traffic it is.

Thanks for this plugin.

I need to generate charts from reports, I installed "PHP library "GD2" in conjunction with "Freetype 2"" as stated in the readme file but it didn't appear, also I opened setup.php file and found it refer to cc_charts.php file but this file doesn't exist in plugin files.

Please help me in generating charts.

UPDATE: I found the way to generate charts, just enable "graph functionality" under reportit settings, then the charts icon will appear on the top right corner on your reports.
