[revisited] Nokia IP Firewall Checkpoint Template V0.2

Hi all

I having a similar problem in that we have upgraded to IP1280s and i am not getting any data in the graphs at all. Using the snmp walk function in the network tools in cacti i can look at .1.3.6.1.4.1.94.1.21 and recieve alot of information back. Using anything from .1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.1.25.5.1.1 or below doesnt get me anything so the OIDs have change since the template was released.

does anyone know which OIDs should be queries now?

I found the reason of my issue: the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.2620 belongs to Checkpoint only. You need to run the Checkpoint SNMP daemon on your Nokia box which is not enabled by default.

After enabling it, you should have two distinct SNMP daemons running on your firewall:
1. the IPSO/Nokia
2. the Checkpoint

And the CPU can be monitored either on the IPSO OID or the checkpoint OID.

Hi all,

I have just imported the template into my system to see if i can get anything from a checkpoint we have in the office.

I am interested in CPU, checking the graph i am getting zero for all values.

Running an snmp query on the command line i get nothing returned

any thoughts anyone?
