1. How can I get the latest stable to work with 0.8.6b?
2. When you create an archive, please use subdirectories so we don't unzip all those files to the current dir

I am going to not provide every warning in 0.8.7 at LOW or below, I will simply provide counts because this error can be expected from time to time. You definately need to increase your timeouts though.
Do you want source or executable. It's not quite ready for prime time, but I can send you a copy via e-mail. In it's current state, it addresses some problems with pointers especially with scripts and results.

Source would be great, I can't get the one from cvs to run, it just hangs

Uh, are you saying you got the one from source and the problem still exists, or is it that it has been hanging and you are now going to try the CVS version?

I'm saying the CVS version (source) is hanging.
Although it did work briefly last night, but wasn't updating the graphs. I can't say what has changed since I was in a bit of a panic to get things working again, but now when I just run ./cactid it just sits there with no output.
