Just one remark, the 2x2 column report is buggy at the moment. I have to dig into this to fix it.
You may also want to to look at BBCacti a Blackberry client for Cacti which does include nmidCreatePDF support ( adding graphs to a report from your blackberry )
http://www.network-outsourcing.de/bbcacti.html
There will be clients for Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Android available for doing this.

poller issue
Hello!
Now that the plugin works perfectly, it seems it causes a big problem on the poller. The poller (SPINE) doesn't start at all.
If I uninstall the plugin, all works perfectly. It's not enough disable the plugin, I must uninstall to have the poller works again, otherwise all my graphs stop to be updated. I've enabled the debug and on the cron minute I can see the poller start but no logs in debug mode. Uninstalling the plugin all goes well.
Maybe some plugin_hooks, priviledges or what else?
Ideas?
thanks!
Simon

this only happen when the sourceguardian ixed loaders are not correctly loaded.
How did you install the loader, through php.ini or using the "dl()" method ?
Other than that the plugin ( at least the free and pro variants ) do not do anything during polling cycle ....

Version 0.84 is available now Build 39:
- Fixed 2x2 column bug
- Removed Watermark from Free version when using the mPDF engine
- change the poller code in the setup.php file
If you use the "Free" Edition, please set the "Scheduler being used" option to "Cron". This will prevent the poller code to be run at all ( only used for scheduling )

Really difficult, near impossible. The servers are on private lan too. btw, I could try the new 0.84. Strange is, as said, the poller doesn't start at all if the plugin is installed. I'll try the last build and before the install delete ANY record concern '%NMID%'.phalek wrote:any chance we could have a look at the system or does your company policies forbid remote support ?

Somehow you are able to connect to the servers
The remote support tool is quite easy:
I connect to your workstation where you can see and follow everything I do, or if preferred, I only tell you where to go to and what to do. I would not connect directly to the servers.
THe only requirement for this to work is that your workstation is able to connect to the internet (directly or via a normal proxy ).
--
Nevertheless, do the logs not show up anything ? Either cacti log or syslog ? You may have to enable error logging in the php.ini file, it is normally turned off by default .

Internal policies doesn't allow me to obtain external access, even if I'm really sure about the trusted support you could give me. I could follow your suggestions here or in MSN in examplephalek wrote: I connect to your workstation where you can see and follow everything I do, or if preferred, I only tell you where to go to and what to do. About cacti.log: If the plugin is installed (enabled or disabled is the same) and I'm on 'tail -f' on cacti.log, on scheduled time (cron) nothing shows up.
On /var/log/cron I can see that the poller is called, also it starts but nothing is logged.
Now I'll try to install last build and delete all nmid entries before. After that, enable error log and wait */5.
Thank's!!
Simon
Enabling DEBUG mode in cacti, the ONLY lines logged on cron start are:
Then *nothing*
Otherwise, uninstalling the plugin, all goes well:
Ideas?
I've deleted all NMID mysql entries and reinstalled the last version fresh, setting the scheduler method to CRON.

I've deleted all NMID mysql entries and reinstalled the last version fresh, setting the scheduler method to CRON.

put a line in the section where the "error_reporting" is ( or uncomment it ):
All php errors will then display in syslog. Alternatively you can also specify a file.
Code: Select all
error_log = syslog

Plugins : CereusReporting
Hello, here the last news with all enabled:
At 14:00 the cron is started, no logs and no updates.
A doubt:
With last Plugin Architecture do I have to specify the plugin into '/opt/cacti/include/global.php'? I don't think it's mandatory...
Any help?
Simon
