Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get

Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
There is a file under the theme that controls all the visual aspects. Check it out.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.
Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
Paul, I successfully upgraded to 1.1.30
I still have some issues with the display.
For example: I wanted to delete a graph from a tree:
It's not possible, because the "Delete" button is in the background. I can't choose it.
I neither can choose "Sorting Type" or "Edit". The whole window is in the background.
Do you have any idea?

What theme are you using and do you have the same issue with other themes? Also, I'm off out now but check the docs/CHANGELOG on the GitHub repo as I'm sure some theme related fixes were put in sometime between 1.1.28 and 1.1.34

Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
I just uploaded 1.1.34 to Debian unstable. If all goes OK, I can upload to Debian Backports in 5 days. If the issue was fixed in between, you'll get the improvement once I upload.Axel90 wrote:I successfully upgraded to 1.1.30

@netniV: "I'm off out now" What do you mean with that?
@netniV @Paul: Okay, I could have thought about that before. But it didn't come to my mind. I'm using the modern theme, and actually it was a problem with it. I had no issues with classic, for example. So everything is fine. I mean, I don't change trees often, so I can switch between classic and modern, that's ok.
Thanks.

Off Out = leaving the building
I really meant that I didn't have time to verify anything.

The release I was pushing the packages to became EOL by Ubuntu¹, so I had to remove the packages as they were outdated.Axel90 wrote:Paul,

On popular demand, I could start providing them for Artful.

Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
I'm fine for now. I will stay on 17.04 until April and don't need any new version of cacti until April.
But then I will move to 18.04 LTS.
Would be very nice providing cacti packages for 18.04 LTS then.

Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
Hey Paul,
would like to ask you a general question, since the release of 18.04 LTS is in 6 days.
I'm planning to install a new VM with 18.04 LTS and cacti.
After that, I want to try to migrate all data with a database dump.
My current cacti version is 1.1.30. Would it be possible to provide me 1.1.30 for 18.04 ?

No, it will be based on whatever is in Debian unstable at the time I upload, which now is 1.1.38.Axel90 wrote:My current cacti version is 1.1.30. Would it be possible to provide me 1.1.30 for 18.04 ?

Re: Install cacti 1.0.2 with apt-get
Yes and no. I had to stop on older Ubuntu releases as the packaging effort became too much there, and honestly I forgot about the latest Ubuntu release. I intend to support it there, but there haven't been cacti releases in a while and I normally upload to my ppa when I upload to Debian.Axel90 wrote:did you stop putting new releases into your ppa?

Do you think it's possible to add 1.2 beta for 18.04 LTS?
