Ok, first thing to check is whether the firewall on the CactiEZ server is setup to allow UDP 514 in, it should be. 2nd would be to check the config of syslog-ng to ensure that it is set to accept remote connections, it should be based upon the config that I have it setup with.

I disabled the firewall earlier in my troubleshooting as I thought it might be blocking it. However, it is not as UDP 514 for syslog is allowed. I did turn it back on.
About syslog-ng. I have found two locations with a folder name syslog-ng with a config file in /etc/webmin/syslog-ng and /usr/llibexec/webmin/syslog-ng. Are these what you are referring to? I have found references to /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf on the internet, but it does not exist on my box.
