It depends on how far into my todo list I go. Usually I start with a huge list of things, get bored halfway through, and get the work so far to a stable state instead. :-) So there are things that keep getting put off to the next version (like multi-line labels, more DS plugins, and a new AJAX-based editor).

Most of the work since 0.97a so far has been on performance and automated testing, so it's 'better' but without too many new features. I'll probably add in a few more things first, and clear the "known bugs" list, of course.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I had the same problem as jmarshall and this thread helped me out greatly, thanks guys! Just wanted to give you a little shout-out!

Now if I could only figure out why my spine time mysteriously jumped from < 10 seconds to 30-40 seconds a week ago :(

So nearly a year on, I'm going to make a proper effort to at least release what I have so far with 0.98!

For what it's worth, Howie, I got around this by simply setting up a separate scheduled task to rebuild the Weathermaps from the command line.

I've got around 43 weathermaps and it seems to run faster. If it does or not, I can't say I have any hard proof.
