Try re-importing the templates. If that does not work, you may need to delete the templates and then import them.

I have removed all of the old templates, and the device I was trying to graph. Re-imported the templates and uploaded the files. Stil no RRD files being created.

I am using Version 0.8.7d with the SPINE poller. I have also tried adding other devices to ensure that they will create RRD files and they do.

I still get the "create from data query" that doesn't have values for the index values etc.

Any assistance you can offer would be really appreciated.

I sorted it all out, it was the way I was adding the graphs. It looks like you have select the specific instances and ensure you choose the correct graph type using the drop down.

Thanks!

When creating graphs for pools or pool members I assume you have to specify which pool/member you want to graph using the following settings. What exactly am I supposed to specify?

Output Type ID
Index Value
Index Type

Arne

This is a common mistake that people make.. The templates are data query, where by you select the index you want to monitor. What you need to do is to
create graphs for host in question
go to data query NOT graph template section
highlight the index you want and then using the drop down menu select the one in question.
Doing this will mean the index and other fields are auto populated and you don't have to fill them in. If you tick one of the items under the graph template section it will ask you to fill in those fields.

This only applies to templates that have data queries assigned to them.

Cheers
