For example: With our MRTG url... I can see all the links, devices etc,,, how do I get that in Cacti? All I am seeing is the GRAPH heading in red and under the graph heading is Graphs and Preview Mode and then on the right side there's a tab Settings, then a tree view, list view and a preview view. I have 2 graphs showing, one blank and the other blue and red... but this is from the url: http://localhost/cacti/graph_view.php?action=preview

Thanks much for your help.

*sigh*

cactiserver is an ALIAS for the name of the web server which you've installed cacti on...

You need to logon to your cacti installation and set up the various devices. Have you done that yet?

Once you've logged onto the cacti web site, go to devices... add them and fill in the fields.

Hello,

I might delete every install and install all over again because I don't see where to add the devices... How do I go about doing so. I am going to use your Windows Installer that will install all components in the right directory.

Any suggestions please? Thanks for your help!

Look in the \cacti\cli\ directory for scripts you can use. read in the documentation site on how to use them.

Looks to likely be NTFS permission issues. Re-read my installation guide, paying close attention to the file/folder permission settings which need to be set.
