1) I was just trying to get some cpu data and this script was recommended. Please share if you have an easier way to accomplish the same thing.

1) Tried adding the 'SNMP - Get Processor Information' in associated data templates for the device? Alternatively, you can use the generic SNMP template and snmpwalk OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2 to find the last OID.

2) Cactid must have forward slashes for its path.

Maybe the script isn't returning anything? Does this script work when you use it with the cmd.php poller? What is the exact output when you run the command cactid is attempting?

Yeah it works with the other poller. Here is the output if I run the script from the command line...

The new version of Cactid requires the "full" path to the "perl" or any other binary. Please read the attached link for further details.

Cactid timed out while processing hosts internal.
...error. What the heck causes that?

It means that Cactid is going very slow for some reason and has timed out while hosts were still in the queue to be processed.

Can you make a cactid config reconmendation for 108 hosts with an avg of 6 graphs per host? The current settings are...

Max Concurrent Poller Processes - 1
Max Threads per process - 5
Number of PHP Script Servers - 5
Script and Script Server Timeout Value - 25
The Max SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request - 30
SYSTEM STATS: Time:281.0721 Method:cactid Processes:1 Threads:5 Hosts:108 HostsPerProcess:108 DataSources:1154 RRDsProcessed:671
Most of the graph data is gathered via php/perl scripts if that matters.

1) Number & Types of Processors?
2) Amount of Memory?
3) Types of Hosts?

Also, please open a command prompt on the poller and type "set > setting.txt". Please PM me the file.
