IS there a way to obtain Source and Dest IP with ports ?
HI All
I'm using this wonderful flowviewer plugin to analyse data, but I see that reports are a bit fragmented.
When you want to check the flow I think you want to know:
Source IP Source port Destination IP destination port and maybe qos class.
Flowview shows me Source and destination IP but not the ports, or it shows me the ports but not the IPs.
Any Idea how to obtain a complete list of values ?
Thanks a lot

Found why it wont save a query...
Hi there,
I've found out why it wouldnt save a query for me, in flowview.php the submit/save button where you put in your query's name, the name of this button is "action" where it should be "action2"
well.. that works for me anyway!

Re: Found why it wont save a query...
Can you tell me where is this setting? I cannot save my queries. BTW. Where do you specify the query name? I do not see in the web interface anywhere.robnorton wrote:I've found out why it wouldnt save a query for me, in flowview.php the submit/save button where you put in your query's name, the name of this button is "action" where it should be "action2"
Thanks.
Hi cigamit. Did you end up getting this functionality working? It would be very handy to access netflow reports that are saved via a link on a weathermap. P.S. Saved queries arent working for mecigamit wrote:Not possible, as it expects a POST form, and not the GET method. This ofcourse is something is that is in the works. You will be able to "save" a search, and rerun it over with a simple link like flowview.php?report=1 and ofcourse you will then be able to set those reports to run automatically and email you the results.woodgdo1 wrote:Does anyone know if it is possible to url-encode variables to the flowview.php script to automate the output generation? I would like to make a couple of quick links to output for certain network segments to place in my weathermap so I can see who is talking.
Thanks,
Doug
Re: Found why it wont save a query...
I eventually managed to get it working by first installing flowview 0.5.2, importing manually the tables in the DB and replacing 'action' with 'action2' in flowview.php like robnorton said earlier in the thread.aleu wrote:Can you tell me where is this setting? I then upgraded to to 0.6 keeping flowview.php from 0.5.2 and it is now working (I can save queries and schedule the reports to be sent by e-mails). I couldn't get flow-capture to automatically start with this plugin but it is not diffcult to edit flow-capture.conf and start the process manually.
Re: netflow and cacti
Hi,
flow-capture is not starting with this plugin for me either.
there is a file in the plugin called flow-capture that looks like it should make the subdirs too, but it isn't doing that either.
