problem performance

Hi,

I tried to change to 8 threads, that made me 10 sec less in poller time. And I also changed the table cache size, there I couldnt see any changes to the poller time.

I will try to go from Raid 1 to 5 this week. Maybe the problem lies there.

I found the problem, somehow the RRAs (Daily 5min avg.) was set to 51840 rows instead of 600 (default)

now my poller time is:
09/14/2005 02:55:18 PM - SYSTEM STATS: Time: 16.7670 s, Method: cactid, Processes: 4, Threads: 45, Hosts: 197, Hosts/Process: 50, Data Sources 17153, RRDs Processed 6537
