Well, the only polling item to be found from the log (seems to be a truncated log, isn't it?) is

Code: Select all

Host[22] DS[228] CMD: perl /home/.sites/143/site2/web/cacti/scripts/ping-latency.pl 192.168.1.1, output: min:0.424 avg:0.434 max:0.450 dev:0.008 loss:0
So please have a look at the Poller Cache and post all items found for this host. You may re-create the poller cache by selecting Clear Poller Cache which in fact rebuilds the poller cache.

In the end i have given up on it since i read lots and lots of people online who do have the same issues.

Removed the mails so i couldn't find the thread back.

I tested with several drayteks all newer versions seems to have the issues.

I have made 'some' progress. I gave up trying to get the built in snmp interface statistics to work with it. After going through the snmpwalk output etc I have now got a graph working that will graph the incoming data on my adsl interface using the "SNMP - Generic OID Template". I'd like to add outgoing data aswell to the same graph but I will probably need to do some more reading first.

If you need any info please let me know. If I get any further with this I will post an update although this won't be likely until later in the week.

Cheers...

Fine. I'd like to see the OID you used with the generic template and an snmpwalk from cli against this OID. WOuld this be possible?

Please see output below.

[root@holly ~]# snmpwalk -c routerpub -O fn 192.168.1.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.4
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.4 3950296

[root@holly ~]# snmpwalk -c routerpub -O f 192.168.1.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.4
.iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets.4 4157993

From what I can work out the SNMP interface statistics 'should' work with this. It 'see's' the interfaces, but seems to have issues either generating the files in the rra directory ( i suspect not as other graphs work fine) or getting the actual information from the OID above (and the .1 .2 & .3 oid's for the other interfaces).

Cheers...
