Hi Cudcm,

From memory these were written on 0.8.6h and have been imported overtime into .6i and .6j versions with no issues.

This runs perfectly fine on Win2003 / .6j version and Extremeware I Chipset 7.2 upwards and Extremeware E chipset 7.5 upwards.

Cheers

Hi

For anyone still watching this it looks like Extreme have added some additional snmp features in Extremware 7.8. Check out the release notes for more information.

SNMP private MIB variables for system memory (total, free, allocated) are now available to remotely monitor free memory on a switch (PD2-91657034, PD3-115547398).

SNMP now provides MIB support for retrieving per VLAN IP statistics and task names (PD3-14163261).

Awesome. Does it actually count something useful (i.e. all traffic, not just CPU-switched?)

Time to talk to our Extreme distie.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.

Hi Howie

Not had a chance to test. Was logging a fault via e-support and noticed that 7.8 had been released. Just got the information via the release notes. Won't have a chance to test this for a few weeks, due to another major project going on. If I get anything set up before anyone else I will post on the forums.

Any success or updates on templates for Extreme Networks switches? Primarily we're graphing some older Summit 24 & 48 units, but also Black Diamonds. Want to see if we can add CPU usage, Errors, and Temperature to both old and new routers. Thanks.

I've just noticed in the EW7.8 MIB that there's a new table (it wasn't in 7.4 at least) that is called extremePortVlanStatsEntry.

It *appears* to be per-VLAN packet/byte/frame counters... I haven't upgraded our BD6800 to 7.8 yet though, so I can't test. Seems this is the last chance for me, as there's no new software for the 6800 anymore.
