Ok, feeling a little dumb here. Still having trouble with this.
I setup a graph tree with a graph using the graph template Host MIB - CPU Utilization and the data template Host MIB - CPU Utilization. My device is a Windows Server.
When I let the scheduled Cacti Poller task run, this is what is written to the log:
11/05/2015 01:05:00 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] NOTE: Poller Int: '300', Scheduled Task Int: '300', Time Since Last: '300', Max Runtime '298', Poller Runs: '1'

I have a data source, using the previously mentioned data template.
What did I do wrong?

How did you create these? it should've been done in:TheBrain wrote:I setup a graph tree with a graph using the graph template Host MIB - CPU Utilization and the data template Host MIB - CPU Utilization. My device is a Windows Server.
devices -> select device -> click on create graphs for device (top right corner) -> select the items from the various data queries -> click create. then wait 2 polling cycles before checking the graphs. The error in the cacti log would suggest you did not follow these steps.

Re: Cacti not collecting any data
I did not realize that was the only way to make a working graph.
OK, so doing it that way, I get this message in the Cacti log:

When I use the following command from the command line:WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result: U
I get this error:snmpwalk -c public -v 2c 5 .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.52.0

Re: Cacti not collecting any data
OK, I finally have a working graph. Using the template Host MIB - Processes.
Now I'm trying to see if I can get the Host MIB - CPU Utilization template to work. It's not in the list of templates when I got to my device and click create graphs for this device, so I had to add a data source using that data template and then make a graph using that graph template.
EDIT: It looks like data sources that use the input method "Get SNMP Data" are working just fine. Sources using "Get Script Server Data (Indexed)" are not working.

Re: Cacti not collecting any data
you must create the graphs using the method I stated for this type.TheBrain wrote:Sources using "Get Script Server Data (Indexed)" are not working.
Start with http://docs.cacti.net/manual:088:2_basi ... ion#basics - you need to add that associated data query to that device.
