Have a look in the /var/log/audit/audit.log for simple.conf

If you are seeing "deny" lines in there, then it is selinux that is stopping you. You either need to configure it to allow your webserver to write to that folder, or disable it. Read up about setenforce for the second option. Selinux is quite complex.

I don't use centos any more, so don't really have any detail for this.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I have lookd the audit.log and there's nothing about simple.conf. And I have checked that the Selinux is disabled.

Anything else that can I try? I can't downgrade php5.3

OK, well what are the permissions on the simple.conf file?

The problem was the permission on the simple.conf file :D
now seems it works!
