PA problems after upgrade to cacti 0.8.7f

It's definitely a permissions problem. I do not see this problem on my installs. Is everything installed from source or did you use a package?

Yes it was a compile code issue.

I had to change the permissions to 644 from 600 on all the plugins.php files.

chmod 644 /usr/share/cacti/plugins.php

chmod 644/usr/share/cacti/lib/plugins.php

chmod 644 /usr/share/cacti/include/plugins.php

600 would not work on almost any installation.

i know that was old post but i have same problem and sovled it by install php-pear package
