so best is to delete all tables and let mactrack initialize all the tables and data from scratch?TheWitness wrote:Looks like the database upgrade did not run correctly for you.

But which table do I have to truncate? I do not want to loose my setup of switches/sites etc., only the mac/ip-content should be renewed.

update lib/database.php from branches/0.8.7/lib/database.php and then post the errors.

I have the same problem as torstentfk with the 2.6 version of mactrack(the last one with the database which didn't update when i change from 1.1 version)with the messages :
-Notice: Undefined index: term_type in /var/www/cacti-0.8.7e/plugins/mactrack/mactrack_view_devices.php on line 369
-/var/www/cacti-0.8.7e/plugins/mactrack/mactrack_view_devices.php on line 393
I can't use svn to upgrade to 2.8 version so i would like to know a different solution to update the database. I have also some problem, i cannot see the devices in the console but there are in the mactrack viewer.
And from 1.1 version an in the 2.6 version i have also a problem of port none dectected where there are devices connected to them and up in MACAdress in the MACTrack viewer too.
I have the 0.8.7.e version of cacti, 2.6 for mactrack and 2.6 for the Architecture.
thanks forward

it s ok now about the database problem ( i uninstall and install again mactrack 2.6) but i lost every devices and every type devices, i ve just added all my every devices and type devices one by one but i have also the problem with the 1.1 version of MacTrack :
MacTrack don t show every ports of my devices, some of them with device connected on it so it s a real problem. I have Cisco devices : C6500, C3750G, C2950 and C2960.
Have you any idea about my problem ?

When you uninstall MacTrack, it removes your data. Please restore from your last backup, and you will be fine.

Please open a bug report at http://bugs.cacti.net for this issue. I might do some work on MacTrack from the Airport on in the air on Saturday. Not sure yet.zephyr936 wrote:I have the same problem as torstentfk with the 2.6 version of mactrack(the last one with the database which didn't update when i change from 1.1 version)with the messages :
