SNMP error and PING issue

Execute the following command and send me the output.

ping -n 1 -w 1000 somehost

I think the normal poller will report using raw sockets and as a result be more accurate. Unfortunately, if you look at the ping output here, I can't do any better.

Is there a way to clear the Current and Average stats on the devices page without removing and re-adding the devices?

Select the hosts in question and then from the dropdown select clear statistics. Then hit "Go"

I tried that and the only device showing proper Current and Average is the device I removed and re-added. All other devices are showing >3ms which I know is incorrect.

Check the host table immediately after the clear. Let me know if everything is reset.

Then it must be using windows ping. Quite nasty. Might be a permission u can grant via a policy in Windoz.

Hi,

In my case, SNMP works fine, ICMP ping good but UDP ping fail, I don't know why ?

On Cacti 0.8.8f, cmd.php
