dieter, pestilence, maybe others - can you post your alarm threshold scripts on the forum, please?
All of us are using Cacti as a free product. Do something for free for others, too.

The script can be even not working but it would show the idea and the way to write our own ones.

Ian, Phil and I have not discussed the integration of Event Management into Cacti yet. Posting would be premature. However, I believe that others have written products that work outside of Cacti to alarm based upon events.

It will be provided in the future. However, if you are desparate, for now I would suggest Nagios.

I would like to have even a feature of marking graphs (for example on the list page) with alarm treshold exceeded for their graph items.

The PHP page would be checking values for each graph item and display ONLY graphs with alarms.
This is better in opposite to manually scroll through hundrets of graphs. I guess it's easier to implement than real management system.
