First, thanks alot for your effort that help alot.

i load NAT plugin in cacti 0.8.7H, however it's not giving correct reading from cisco 7200 router.

This is real inservice box reading:
7200#show ip nat statistics
Total active translations: 213188 (0 static, 213188 dynamic; 213183 extended)
Peak translations: 260200, occurred 13:37:50 ago

Around 213,000 session while Plugin reading is only 35,000 session, the scale does not go more than 40,000 session at all.

i capture the real time transulation to get proper reading and found it not matching the real reading from router.

any help please.

i test the template again on Cisco 2800 and give good result, i think it's OID related to this 7200.

i reach the maximum of PAT sessions on this test.

Hello, In my installation with a Cisco 2851 with this IOS : C28000NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-MZ.124-24.T2.bin
The OID in this template give me the total of PAT translation.

Anybody have found the OID will give us the total of NAT on a Cisco routeur ?

I'll test it on Cisco 2951 in near future.

I have test for 3925, but it dose't work.And the C2811 too.
I connected the cisco tac, there is no mib for nat translation statistics.
It's a bug always.
So I don't know how to watch it!!

i use your cacti template template and work very very. But work only PAT . can you change tour template so tiwork with NAT + PAT
cnatAddrPortBindNumberOfEntries 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.77.1.2.3 (PAT)
cnatAddrBindNumberOfEntries OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.77.1.2.1 (NAT)

a snmpget request of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.77.1.2.1 return anything but the snmpwalk yes :/

Looking at this I downloaded this template and it worked great.
I upgraded the IOS on a 1801 router and then it stopped working.

After a bit of digging it seems to be a cisco bug that was introduced after a certain version. It looks like there is no intention to fix it!

cnatAddrPortBindNumberOfEntries is always 0

Description
Symptom:
"cnatAddrBindNumberOfEntries" and "cnatAddrPortBindNumberOfEntries" OID cannot be displayed correctly. These OID values are always 0.

Condition:
-Use NAT
-The symptom can be shown on 12.4(25d), but not 12.4(25c) or before.

Workaround:
There is no workaround at the moment.
