Ok.

I don't know how to setup/maintain apache - so for me i am sure it's not easier :o

now, about the logs. in IIS i didn't realy see anything wrong and in the php error log, well now, there is a whole lot of issues, i guess i'll have to sort through and try to fix them - BUT, i havn't seen error eplaining the behavior i am experiencing. But i surly might be wrong.

maybe someone can look through those and see anything?

Thanks

Uninstall Manage and see if the problem goes away. It's likely a dependency issue.

Hmm, , wasn't realy sure how to uninstall manage, but i found the following
http://forums.cacti.net/about31785.html
Now, it says in that post, that the tabs on top were take out by design, but once i enabled them i was able to see all the plugins under uninstalled.

i clicked install on some of them and all of the plugins showed up in the installed tab.

so even though this is problably not the prefered way to fix it - seems to have worked for me.

Thanks for all your help!

Definately look at the recently released 0.8.7e and PIA 2.5. It's going to be a "solid" performer. Our next release is going to be Cacti 0.8.8, which will be completely new in it's behavior.
